They suffice all my halal meat needs. They are very helpful and kind. I was able to get all my groceries right from this store which was helpful. They have a really good chip section which was quite random but I would definitely check it out if you go! (Tins of spicy chips in various flavors)
This market has fantastic home made Middle Eastern bread of all kinds - often warm when you buy it. Their selection of dates, spices, and everything else is enormous. The prices are very reasonable. The people who work there are super nice. Stores like this make a city interesting.
Today was my first time here at the Baghdad market, and I really enjoyed looking at all the interesting foods that they had. I had driven by many times in the past, but from the outside it looks a little bit.... overwhelming for someone not from the area. Don't be afraid! Go inside, where it is bright and clean and the shelves are full of things you may not see anywhere else. I was especially excited to see a huge case of different kinds of fresh bread, including injeera, 3' long flat naan, 2' diameter breads, and some smaller breads, some of which were still warm when I got there. I wanted all of them, but being by myself for the day, I just ended up buying some small pita bread, which were delicious. Yes, since they were still a bit warm, I got into them as soon as I got into my car! Go check this place out - you can park right in front!
Great store for your halal meat. They had plenty of options and provided great customer service. There was also a variety of ingredients available for purchase in the store.
My go-to market for halal meat. Their meat selections are really fresh. Come down on Thursday morning since the meat is freshly delivered every Wednesday evening. They also have a wide selection of fresh turkish flat bread which is still warm when delivered and taste absolutely amazing. Their spice selection is pretty wide as well especially if you wish to cook middle eastern dishes.
Has some cool dishes etc. at reasonable prices. Had to go thru 3 staff to find the item we were looking for. Not excessively welcoming.
